Artful Resilience
A Creativity Retreat for Employee Care Partners
Artful Resilience is a nurturing and immersive one-day workshop designed for employees who are also care partners to loved ones, friends, or others in their community.
Through a variety of art-based and mindfulness activities such as journaling, painting, collage, eco-art, creative writing, and gentle movement, participants will experience a restorative break from caregiving pressures.
By fostering creativity and community in a supportive environment, care partners will leave with renewed energy, practical self-care strategies, and a personal toolkit to sustain their well-being.
This workshop is ideal for employees across all life stages who balance work responsibilities with caregiving duties whether supporting children, aging parents, partners with health needs, or other loved ones.
It is intentionally designed for individuals, including the “sandwich generation,” who provide unpaid care while striving to maintain their professional roles, and who would benefit from creative self-care, emotional resilience, and community building in the workplace.
This program will help participants to:
Foster Creative Self-Care: Introduce accessible art modalities (journaling, painting, collage, eco-art) to support stress relief and emotional regulation.
Enhance Mindfulness and Body Awareness: Integrate guided breathing and low-impact movement to promote grounding and physical well-being.
Build Peer Support and Creative Connection: Cultivate empathy, validation, and camaraderie through collaborative art-making and storytelling exercises.
Equip Themselves with Sustainable Practices: Provide participants with a portable "artful respite" toolkit and strategies for integrating creative self-care into daily caregiving routines.
Full-Day Experience | 18-24 Participants | In-Person Only
